Video – Epping Forest rally for buses and public transport – 3rd July 2017

  • by

On Monday 3rd July 2017 we held a small lunchtime rally in Waltham Abbey’s Market Square to build support for our campaign to save the 250 and 251 buses, improve public transport across Epping Forest and, with the help of the Campaign for Better Transport, launch Catch the Bus week.

Nick Robinson, manager of the Loughton Youth Project, live-streamed the event. This is footage of two of the speakers, Dave Plummer of the Epping Forest Transport Action Group (EFTAG) and Lianna Etkind from the Campaign for Better Transport, taken from that live stream, with subtitles added.

Both speakers cover a lot of ground, explaining why public transport, and particularly buses, is so vital and why it’s important that we campaign to protect and improve our services.

The petition to save the 250 and 251 buses is online here: Save the 250 and 251 bus routes.
