Dear supporter,
Better Transport Week (logo)
Sustainable transport does amazing things. It shrinks traffic jams, cleans up our air and tackles climate change. And that's why we're celebrating Better Transport Week with the Campaign for Better Transport. You can read more on their web site, or why not get involved by joining in with one of the easy activities in this email...
Essex County Council have launched a consultation on their new draft Cycling Strategy. Show you care by filling out their survey, and why not ask them to set ambitious targets - to build more safe places to cycle, and to get more people cycling.

Epping Forest District Council are moving forward with their development plans for South Epping. Why not find out more from the market stall in Epping on Monday 24 June from 9:30am to 1:30pm - then tell us how we should be campaigning to make new housing for the next generation as sustainable as it can be? Or read about the plans online and fill out their survey.
It's election season, and Cycling UK have asked parliamentary candidates to pledge their support for the creation of better, safer places for cycling and walking. Using their online form, you can ask the candidates for Epping Forest constituency what they'll do to give everyone healthy and sustainable transport choices. You might also find this briefing from Living Streets (PDF) a useful source of questions to ask.
