It makes a pleasant change to be able to start one of these emails on a positive note but it looks like we’re very close to getting late evening bus services back between Waltham Cross and Debden. Essex County Council, EFTAG and Bindmans solicitors met last week to discuss options (and avoid us launching a Judicial Review!) leading to a new proposal.
Our cycling tream have been working hard on cycling infrastructure – come along on Saturday 24th to hear more about their work.
If you’d like to get more involved in EFTAG please drop us a line – we could do with people to help with everything from leaflet distribution to looking at policy documents. However you can help there’s a role for you!

Good news! Although we lost the campaign to save the 250 & 251 evening services from Waltham Cross to Debden and back it looks like Essex County Council are willing to subsidise two new return services running from Waltham Cross at about 10.15 & 11.15 pm.
However, we need to demonstrate that they’ll be used.
If you think you’d use them for work, caring responsibilities, leisure or any other reason please let us know on our quick survey, and spread the word!
It’s taken a lot of work to get to this point – let’s not fall at the final hurdle.
